Applicable raw material range
The raw materials of the combustible briquetting machine must have a certain degree of combustibility (low calorific value is usually ≥3000kcal/kg), and common types include:
Agricultural and forestry waste: straw (corn stalks, wheat stalks, rice stalks), rice husks, wood chips, sawdust, fruit tree branches, bark, sugarcane bagasse, etc.;
Industrial organic waste: wine lees, medicine residues, papermaking black liquor residues, food processing waste residues (such as fruit shells, fruit cores), textile waste fibers, etc.;
Domestic organic waste: kitchen waste (needs pretreatment dehydration, impurity removal), peels, fallen leaves, etc. (needs to control the impurity content to avoid corrosion of equipment);
Low-grade fuel: some coal gangue, oil shale (needs to be crushed to a suitable particle size and then briquette to improve combustion efficiency).
Key performance characteristics of Rdf briquetting machine:
Wide adaptability of raw materials: can handle a variety of combustible wastes, and adapt to different raw material characteristics (such as high moisture, high viscosity) by adjusting the mold size, pressure parameters or adding impurity removal devices.
High molding density: The density of the molding block can reach 1.0-1.5g/cm³ (the density of loose raw materials is only 0.1-0.2g/cm³), the volume is reduced by 5-10 times, and the transportation efficiency is greatly improved (such as the freight per ton of straw after briquetting is reduced by more than 70%).
Combustion performance optimization: During the compression process, part of the lignin softens and bonds, and the calorific value of the molded block can reach 3500-5000kcal/kg (close to standard coal), and the combustion is continuous and stable (no "floating ash" phenomenon of loose raw materials), which is suitable for industrial boilers, power plants and other scenarios.
High degree of automation: High-end models are equipped with a PLC control system, which can automatically adjust the feeding speed, pressure, and temperature, reduce manual intervention (only 1-2 people are required to operate), and reduce labor intensity.
Environmental protection and energy saving: The equipment has good sealing performance, and the dust emission complies with the "Comprehensive Emission Standards for Atmospheric Pollutants"; some models use waste heat recovery technology (such as using the waste heat of the molded block to dry the raw materials) to reduce energy consumption.
Raw material pretreatment requirements:
Water content: usually controlled at 12%-20% (depending on the equipment design, too high will lead to difficult molding or fuel mold, too low will rebound easily during compression);
Particle size: generally needs to be crushed to ≤50mm (some equipment requires ≤20mm), which can be pre-processed by crusher or pulverizer;
Impurities: hard objects such as metal, stone, glass, etc. need to be removed (especially hydraulic equipment, to avoid damage to the mold).
